Periodic Motion

A motion is said to be periodic if it repeats itself after equal intervals of time.

Time Period

The time taken to complete one cycle:

$$ T $$

Frequency

The number of oscillations per unit time:

$$ f = \frac{1}{T} $$

Angular Frequency

$$ \omega = 2\pi f = \frac{2\pi}{T} $$
