Problem:
Show that angular momentum is conserved in central force motion.

Solution

$$ \vec{\tau} = \vec{r} \times \vec{F} = 0 $$

$$ \frac{d\vec{L}}{dt} = 0 $$

Thus, angular momentum is constant.
