Introduction

Kinematics is the branch of mechanics that describes motion without considering the forces that cause it. It focuses on how objects move rather than why they move.

In this chapter, we will study motion in a systematic way using mathematical tools. We begin with motion in one dimension and gradually extend to two and three dimensions.
